  • Social Media and Marketing Strategist

    Are you passionate about blogs, Twitter, Instagram, Wikipedia, Reddit, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn and/or Tumblr?

    Good! Because we're hiring a Social Media and Marketing Strategist.

    Blogads, a digital advertising firm, has been a tech and media innovator since 1998. We represent 3500+ blogs including trendsetters like PerezHilton, ThinkProgress, and UrbanDictionary. We work closely with prominent advertisers in entertainment, politics, consumer packaged goods, retail, and technology.

    As our Social Media and Marketing Strategist you will:
     -  create content and converse with advertisers, bloggers, analysts and journalists on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and Reddit
     -  help develop marketing plans for partner bloggers
     -  increase fan engagement for partner bloggers
     -  use tools like Hootsuite, Twiangulate, Twialog and Bitly to analyze and optimize our SM impact
     -  respond to clients via social media
     -  create short videos that showcase or explain our products or partners
     -  identify and document trends in advertising and social media
     -  stay abreast of developments in our fast-paced industry
     -  chronicle company events and culture in words, photos and videos
     -  help develop new products

    Our ideal candidate is:
     -  a 4-year college graduate with at least one year of professional experience or equivalent work experience while in school
     -  an expert multi-tasker, able to passionately own multiple simultaneous projects
     -  high energy: able to work for sustained periods during product launches, conferences, special events and emergencies, including evenings and weekends
     -  totally reliable and determined to take social media personally
     -  committed to creating first-class material
