Agency merch: Goods for ad people, made by ad people
If you’re going to be a kick-ass branding agency, shouldn’t your agency’s own brand kick ass?
These agencies have the goods. And you can buy the goods from them.
T-Shirts, Mugs, and — Onesies?
Red Square Agency, based in Mobile, AL and home to Cous Cous, got our attention recently with a Facebook ad for their “I’m with Copywriter” t-shirt. At their online store, you can find a nice mix of of topical and industry-specific merch, ranging from T’s to koozies to totes, all branded with the Red Square sense of humor.
DC’s JESS3 sells T-shirts blazed with their iconic graffiti-inspired over at their Etsy shop, along with a couple dozen other designs. My personal favorites are the T’s they made for the Arlingon County fair. As someone who grew up in Northern Virginia, I refer to Arlington the “Brooklyn of DC,” and those shirts really seem to play upon neighborhood-ization of Arlington.
Weiden + Kennedy‘s W+K Studio is responsible for so much design awesomeness, and now you can own a piece of Portland, thanks to the Goods shop. The limited-run goods aren’t just limited to T-shirts. You can also find prints, stationary and onesies for the A-hole baby in your life.
BooneOakley, the Charlotte, NC creative agency with a Youtube video for a home page, sells stickers, shirts, and skateboards(!) at its Zazzle shop, starring the familiar stick-drawing characters of its popular video-site.
Does your agency sell its own merch? Let us know and we’ll feature it!
